Joy of Living - Haiku

The prompt for Carpe Diem #891 is the modern kigo 'joy of living'. Details about this kigo here.

Joy of Living, I think, is in being aware of the beauty around oneself. It is finding joy in the small things.

from afar
laughing eyes meet
squirrel scuttles

Joy is in having the leisure to enjoy coffee, and books, and ghazals.

coffee at leisure
break from daily chores
open book awaits

dim living room
ghazal singer swoons
my personal concert
